The Biosafety Office conducts annual biosafety inspections for all labs working with biological material. Periodic inspections promote a safer lab environment and provide a time for us to work directly with researchers to improve biosafety practices as a form of hands-on training. We strongly recommend that labs prepare for their annual biosafety inspection by completing a self-inspection using the Biosafety Self-Inspection Form.
