Chemical Spill Kit

  • Gloves
  • Safety glasses
  • Disposable scoop and pan (non-sparking, plastic)
  • Adsorbent material to congeal liquids and solidify the spill
  • Adsorbent pads
  • Pig socks, or similar items to create a makeshift berm

Oil Spill Kit

  • 5 gallon bucket with a lid/cover
  • Nitrile gloves
  • Sorbent (absorbent pads, rolls, booms, socks, or granular sorbents such as "Oil Dri")
  • Dust pan and whisk broom
  • Heavy plastic bag (to act as a liner for your bucket)

Radiological Spill Kit

  • Gloves
  • Shoe covers
  • Smears
  • Envelopes for smears
  • Pen and paper
  • Paper towels / cleanup rags
  • Absorbant pads (such as Spilfyter)
  • Large plastic bags
  • Surface cleaner (NoCount or RadCon)
