In the "Inspection Results" view, the inspections have three different indications for "Status". Below are the recommended uses.
Pending - The inspection has been created/assigned, but none or only some of the inspection items have been completed
Complete - The visit to the lab is complete and all answers, notes, recommendations, etc. have been completed. The inspection report is sent to the PI after the inspection is marked complete. The inspection must be marked 'Complete' for it to be available to PIs to respond to deficiencies.
Closed - All of the unsatisfactory items have been resolved by the PI; the status should also be set to closed after all the documentation for the "Complete" status is done and all items were either "Satisfactory" or "N/A".
The "View Checklist" column in the "Inspection Results" view, has two options
Open Items - This means there are unsatisfactory inspection items that have not been corrected.
No Open Items - This means that there are no unsatisfactory items or that all unsatisfactory items have a corrective response.
