- Click on “Inventory” icon
- At the Chemical Inventory box, click on “Inventory-View/Add"
- Highlight the chemical which you would like to take care of by clicking once on it (red highlighting).
- Transfer
- Click on "Transfer" icon (right top corner), a new screen will pop out ("Chemical Transfer")
- Choose a receiving PI and Lab in appropriate fields at the top of a window
- Click on "Transfer" on chemical(s) you would like to transfer to a new location.
- Transferring process should be seen in the right panel.
- When you are done, click on "Transfer" at the bottom of a window to finalize the process.
- Remove by "Consumed", "Waste" etc.
- Click on "Remove" icon (left top corner), a new screen will pop out ("Confirm Removal")
- In "Reason For Removal" choose the best option describing a reason for a removal from your Inventory: "Data Entry Error", "Transferred" and "Used".
- Click on "Remove" to finalize the process.
- Correcting the chemical entry
- Click twice on a chemical you would like to correct (one click only highlights a chemical) OR click once to highlight your chosen chemical and click on "Edit" icon (top left corner). New screen will pop out.
- Correct all items which need additional attention. All red marked fields must be filled out.
- When you are done, click on "Save" at the bottom of a page.
- Transfer
Do NOT use any other barcodes than preprinted by EHS. The barcode paper has a special lining (resistant to majority of chemicals), we always offer pre-printed barcodes, FREE of charge. Just contact EHS:
