Occasionally, EHSA will have 2 records for a worker instead of 1. This could happen because of a typo at some point, or possibly if they start a BOHP form (and are giving a temporary GTID by EHSA) then take a training right afterwards. Regardless, the fix is to merge the worker records.
- Search so that you can only see the 2 workers that you'd like to merge (not strictly required, but does make things easier)
- Click on the line with the incorrect worker (or the record that you don't want to keep) to highlight it in red
- Click the "Merge" button at the top of the screen
- The incorrect worker's GTID should be in both spots in the box that appears
- Select the correct worker's GTID in the drop-down for "Worker ID To Keep"
- Click "Merge"
What you will end up with:
Field | Incorrect worker | Correct worker |
GTID | X | |
GT Account | X | |
Full name | X | |
Department | X | |
Start date | X | |
Training | X | |
Permit History | X | X |
(needs more testing with created records to see what happens when fields are different)
