  1. Go to "Workers" then "Worker Registration Approval"
  2. For the worker to approve, click the green "Approve" next to their name
  3. Click "Yes"
  4. If the worker is already in the database, you will get a notice to make sure you're adding the permit to the right person. Click "Yes"
  5. If the worker is already in the database and the person is archived, there may be a screen to select whether to keep old values or update to new values. Select accordingly and click "Apply".
  6. When the worker record appears, click "Save"
  7. Add any additional user groups
  8. Click "Sync Permit Links" to add the newly attached PI and click "Save"

[collapse title=Approve Worker Removals]

  1. Go to "Workers" then "Worker Registration Approval"
  2. For the worker to remove, click the green "Approve" next to their name
  3. Make a note of the worker's name - you will need it later
  4. For the message titled "Remove Worker from PI Permit" that states "This action can not be undone. Proceed?" click "Yes", then click "Ok"
  5. If you get a message titled "Additional Worker / PI link" that states "Would you like to remove worker's access to given PI. Worker is not attached to any other permits controlled by PI.", click "Yes".
  6. When the worker record appears, check whether the worker is attached to any other PIs.
    • If so:
      1. Click "Save"
      2. Remove any no-longer-needed user groups
      3. Click "Sync Permit Links" to remove the newly attached PI and click "Save"
    • If not:
      1. Enter today's date as the worker's termination date
      2. Click "Save"
      3. Go to "Workers" then "Workers"
      4. Search for the worker
      5. Click "Archive Worker" then click "Yes"
      6. If you get a message titled "Invalid Archive" that states "Unable to archive record because it is currently referenced by records in the following tables: EHSA Users (1) View... This record cannot be archived until the referenced records are changed or deleted.", click "View" next to "EHSA Users".
      7. Single click on the user's row, then click "Delete" then "Yes"
      8. Click "Return"
      9. Click "Archive Worker" then click "Yes"
