If you're trying to track down whether someone actually took a training course, here's the process:

  1. Check in EHSA
    • Background
      1. Import to EHSA from intermediate datastage happens at 6:30am, 2:30pm, and 6:00pm
      2. If someone has taken training in between ~3 hours before the most recent import and now, go to step 2 (and check back after the next import to make sure their training has been imported)
      3. If someone has taken training before the most recent import and their training history doesn't show up in EHSA, notify Steve Grimm and Christina Tabor
    • Instructions
      1. Go to "Workers" then "Workers"
      2. Search for the worker and open their record
      3. Click on "Training" and view their training history
  2. Check in Genius
    • Background
      1. Import to intermediate datastage happens at 5:00am, 12:30pm, and 3:30pm
      2. If someone has taken training today, go to step 3
      3. If someone has taken training yesterday or earlier, notify Steve Grimm and Christina Tabor
    • Instructions
      1. Click on Sections then either on the specific date or the name of the online course
      2. Click on "Enrollment History"
      3. Search for their name, and confirm it says "COMPLETED" not "DROPPED", blank, or something else
  3. Check in Canvas
    • Background
      1. Import from Canvas to Genius happens between 12:00am and 5:00am (it takes a long time)
      2. If, after completing the course in Canvas, a user clicks on "Back to my Dashboard" (or something like that), the course completion will relatively immediately be recorded in Genius
      3. If someone has taken an online training after 1/31/2022 and their training history does not show up in Canvas, notify Steve Grimm and Christina Tabor
    • Instructions
      1. From Genius, click on "Go to LMS"
      2. Click on the course you need to verify they took
      3. Click on "Grades"
      4. Click on "Gradebook History"
      5. Search for their name
      6. Confirm they received a passing score for the course (>= 80%)
