This applies to email that is sent to your individual work account, or anywhere except ehsa@gatech.edu. By forwarding it and adding this extra information, a ticket is created that appears to come from the sender instead of you.

  1. Click "Forward" to forward the email.
  2. Put "servicedesk@gatech.edu" as the "To" address.
  3. Add " PROJ=5" to the end of the subject.
  4. Paste the following text above the message body:
    Urgency = Workaround Available, Performance Impacted, Can Not Work
    Impact = Individual, Department, Campus, Class In Session, Meeting In Progress
    SuperCategory = IT
    Category = Dept Supt (Non-OIT)
    Type = EHS
    Subtype = ChemSafety, BioSafety, HazWaste, RadSafety, EHS-Triage
    Email Address = 
    Command! = Lookup Email
  5. Delete the non-applicable items from the following fields:
    1. Urgency
    2. Impact
    3. Subtype (EHS-Triage only if you don't know which group should handle the request)
  6. Enter the sender's email address after "Email Address = "
  7. Click "Send".
