- Gather packing lists and calibration paperwork from the outside and inside of the package containing the instrument.
- From the EHSA Home Page, click on "Equipment" on the top navigation banner.
- Click on "Meters" on the left-hand navigation banner and then click "Meters" on the right.
- Type the instrument serial number in the search box labeled "Serial #", which will be the first column on the screen, and hit "Enter" on the keyboard.
- Double-click the row containing the applicable instrument.
- In the screen section labeled "Meter History", click the "+Add" button.
- Enter the date indicated as the calibration date on the calibration paperork in the "Date" field
- In the "History Type" field select "Calibration-12" for instrument requiring annual calibration (almost all of them). For a few instruments with a two year calibration cycle, you will select "Calibration-24" for the history type.
- Select "Complete" in the "Status" field.
- Select "Pass" in the "Result" field unless the calibration report indicates the calibration failed.
- If the calibration failed, notify one of the full-time ORS HP staff and label the instrument "OOS" with the date.
- If the instrument was calibration by a third party vendor, select "Outside Lab" in the "Performed By" field. If the instrument was calibrated in-house, select the name of the person that did the calibration as indicated on the calibration paperwork.
- All other fields are optional.
- Click "Save"
